Dr. Watt's Phalloplasty team includes Reconstructive Urologist Dr. Mang Chen. Surgeries are performed at the California Pacific Medical Center.
Surgery Requirements: Dr. Watt follows WPATH guidelines for surgery. You will need to provide two referrals from qualified mental health professionals, as well as a letter from your hormone specialist stating you have been on 12 months of continuous hormones, unless clinically contraindicated. Per hospital policy, patients must be 18 years of age or older.
Insurance & Medicaid: Dr. Watt accepts insurance from a wide number of insurance companies, including Blue Shield, Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Healthcare, Cigna, Kaiser and Health Net, as well as Medicaid (Medi-Cal). A cash pay rate can also be requested.
